Follow up today...

Hi girls,
As you may already know I have has complications with my armpit incisions opening and has not been for almost 8 weeks...I have a follow up today with my PS. He has been away for over a month and told me they should be ok in 2 weeks (before he left). I am so worried to see what he says. The after care has been awful (as you may no) I couldn't get ahold of the emergency PS while he was gone. This is not the first time.
Anyways..just need a hand held today! I am scared but also excited to see what he says and I am NOT leaving thier office until I get an answer of what is wrong and what he is going to do...mom and dad are coming with me to ensure this! ( I am a pushover)

Write everything down to take with you if you think it will help hunni, I know when I was going through problems with my clinic nerves would take over and I wouldn't say half of what I wanted, so it's best to just take some bullet points in with you to prompt you not to forget. Great also that you have your parents support, they've seen all you're going through and won't allow the surgeon to brush over anything.
Be firm hunni, demand answers and a plan of action, don't settle for being asked 'what do you want me to do' be sure to get the expert advice you paid for, this is what you should expect from him hunni, he should know what to do to get you on the road to recovery now.
I'll be thinking of you hun and hoping all goes well. xxx

be sure to let us know how it goes!
thats one of my concerns should any complications arise that they will just dismiss them to avoid bad publicity/expense.

Thanks so much ladies. Cookie - that is very smart! I am making the list now. I know I am going to cry like crazy, I do when I am mad or mixed with emotions but he should see how I have been feeling all this time! I will let you know so soon. It is in 2 hours...so nervous can barely work.

Good luck Elizabeth, if you feel your going to cry, let him see how much this have effected you. I know that we all hate to cry infront of people but sometimes it's called for.
