Feeling really sorry for myself
It's my sister's 22nd birthday, but she's treating it like a 21st since she was pregnant for that, and was off out tonight. Had one drink and came home because I'm feeling sore and tired. I think I got a bit carried away thinking I'd be okay and now I feel really fed up and sorry for myself. I just want to feel normal and be able to do what I usually would.
Ok, rant over now

Aw hun I understand, in 5 weeks time when you've seen your surgeon and got yourself a new sexy underwired bra organise a nice girly first boobie outing. Buy yourself a new dress or sexy top and enjoy your new boobies. It will make all this feel more worth it.
Re: Feeling really sorry for myself
5 weeks? I thought it was a lot longer than that before you could wear an underwired bra!?? That's really good... do you girls have any before/after pics that I could see please? x
Re: Feeling really sorry for myself
- tanya- it's roughly 6 weeks in a sports bra but surgeons can differ with their advice.tanyajade wrote:5 weeks? I thought it was a lot longer than that before you could wear an underwired bra!?? That's really good... do you girls have any before/after pics that I could see please? x
thanks girls for the support, so hard to talk to hubby about this stuff. i've been so grumpy with him and he doesn't understand why. so good to be able to come on here where people know what you're talking about and you dont sound like a total loon

Hi hun, please see our forum rules on neewbies asking to see pics [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] just keep joining in as you have been and people will be willing to let you see before and after pics, it's nothing against newbies we love having new members, just want to make sure everyone is genuine as pics are very personal as I'm sure you understand.

aw hun I went through the same, had ups and downs, felt really down at times and wondered why I'd put myself through it all, my boyfriend thought I would be all smiles instead of crying, even I started to feel a bit mental. So you are totally normal. Some people are all smiles but many of us just get boobie blues. I promise you it does pass and you will feel heaps better in a week or two, more youself

Awwww hun, that's why we advise ladies early post-op to just take things a day at a time and not to expect too much from yourself.
You WILL feel normal again hun, just take things easy and you'll up and about again before you know it! xx
