scars!
Hi everyone, im 19 days post op today,had my plasters off and the stitches trimmed and am suprised at the size of the scar! the lengh of them ,thought theyd be shorter. however they look v.thiin so should fade soon. Still wishing I went bigger. Waiting for this fluffing!!

Its an unfortunate thing that because of the composition of the silicone, the scars have to be a bit bigger so they can stuff them in there! Ladies in the USA who have saline have slightly shorter scars, but I think the look of silicone is much better! xx

Mine looked big to start off with but now you have to look very close to see my scars. They will fade alot over time. xx

By the time I was past a year post-op from my first surgery, my scarring was barely noticeable, just a fine line but unless I actually pointed it out, no-one would ever have noticed it. xx

yeah they are longer than the old days scars (but much thinner and less noticable) my friends are about 8 yrs old and much shorter.
On the allergan website it advises surgeons to make a slightly longer incision so the implant is manhandled less therefore minimising chances of rupture at a later date - v interesting i thought

My scars are barely noticeable now too, they will fade a lot over time!

Yeah i thought the same about my scars they are very thin but longer than id expected, they freaked me out abit at first but just need them to start fading n im sure will be better. xxxx

My boobies have really dropped in the past few weeks and u cant even see my scars anymore hun, theyre right up in the crease! Theyll fade with time xxx

Yeh hun mine are quite short. altho one is longer for some reason, and a bit thicker too, maybe PS had bother with that one.. who knows! lol x

Day 9 PO and I am desperate to see scars only because my stiches come out as they are soooo itchy just now. But I suppose with any wound it will take time to fade.
