Question about going bigger Empty Question about going bigger

Post by Elizabethvb20 16th July 2010, 5:50 pm

Hi girls,

So I have a follow up this tuesday with my ps and I think it is time to discuss future re-op to go bigger. I measure a D but I am not happy. They look quite small with my clothes off and no difference when I wear a shirt. He tells me I will get no bigger than what I am now. I know I can still change but I doubt it will be enough to make me happy. Have any of you ladies who had a re op to go bigger have to pay the exact same amount (like it was your first BA)? I am going to wait awhile tho, maybe a year. I am 6 weeks po in a few days, so I dont think I have many more bigger changes in store.

Thanks so much. Question about going bigger 948189

I'm not sure but I think for implant removal and replace it usually costs either the same or they may charge more for the removal. My implants didn't really start changing until after the 6 week mark and it took untill about 4 months before they had dropped a bit (not fully) I'd wait until 6 months post op before you decide to re op.

If your PS agrees that the resulting size is smaller than your expected size then you may well get your re-op for free if you're covered by an aftercare policy, if the re-op is due to your unhappiness after you got what you agreed on, then you will pay a little more than a standard breast aug for the explant of the old implants.

Surgeons usually won't entertain a re-op until at least 6 months post-op giving your body plenty of time to recover first from the original surgery, in that time you might find you have had further changes to your breasts and it's not unknown for women unhappy with size early post-op to change their mind due to the changes and be perfectly happy.

I wore a DD bra post-op then suddenly POP! 12 weeks post-op I'm a whopping F cup!... I've also know other ladies to continue to fluff, especially those with unders/partials 3...4....5 months after their surgeries. xx

Question about going bigger Empty Re: Question about going bigger

Hi ya

I had 270cc over done ten years ago and was disappointed with the size immediately but I've learned to love them. When I went back for my post op check even the ps said he could have gone a bit bigger. I'm having mine replaced in 10 day and having 370cc (extra 100cc) so I'm hoping that will make me a proper D rather than a C.
I've had to pay the same as my 1st op, perhaps even a bit more.

Thanks so much for all your input. I am definately waiting at least almost a year. I do love them, the shape is really beautiful! I am super impressed with that but I guess I just want to go slightly bigger. So Cookie? I see you put you went up to an F at your 12 week mark?! Thats wonderful. Did you notice the difference and get them sized? Or were you buying a bra and realized s**t this doesnt fit anymore? Question about going bigger 557141

I'm originally a 32 band, starting size immediately post-op I was a 34D, 4 weeks post-op I was a 36DD, my swelling did continue to reduce around the band over a period of weeks, but my boobs seemed to remain the same, at 10 weeks post op I started to get that nerve tingling sensation and my boobs were quite sore, looking back now, I think this was the point of my 'fluffing' as both boobs from that point seemed to drop further and even up, till at 12 weeks they stopped changing, it was then that I got measured to find the increase from the original D cup to an F cup, that's an increase of 4 cup sizes. xx
