Bigger??
Hi girls, well today I'm one week and one day post op. And I'm sure my bra is getting tighter around the too of my boobs. They feel bigger. Surely not more swelling??? Could it be that my boob tape was restricting them. They we're put on as a pressure bandage which came off Saturday. Xx

Re: Bigger??
It could well be more swelling. Swelling moves through the body as it drains, and can take up to 3wks to clear completely. Or you could just be going through dropping and fluffing really really early!!

Re: Bigger??
Charlii, would dropping and fluffing make my bra tighter across the top of the bust ? I doubt it is that but wouldn't that be nice xxxx

Re: Bigger??
D+f is normally spilling out of your bra. It's more than likely swelling.

Re: Bigger??
I agree with Charlii, sounds like swelling to me. When you drop and fluff you actually lose the upper pole fullness, so it's deffo swelling Anne. Ice packs will help with the swelling (not near incisions though) xx
Re: Bigger??
Thanks I felt that the swelling had gone down on my upper pole as I can now feel the edge of the implant. But my bra seems more stretched than before . Strange. I don't want my boobies to get smaller so hope it's not too much swelling. Xxx

Re: Bigger??
Your boobs won't get smaller Anne. That's a myth many women are mistaken by when they have their Breast Augmentation.
Your boobs don't shrink at all after losing the swelling, what happens as your swelling subsides your boobs will fall into the pocket and as it does this the Breast protrudes forward actually making them 'bigger' this is the drop and fluff process, so don't give shrinking another thought hun. It's not going to happen. Xx

Re: Bigger??
This is the best explanation of dropping and fluffing I've found on the net
And one of our very kind members donated her pictures to us showing the difference of new boobs and boobs after they've dropped and fluffed [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]
