Unsure what to do Empty Unsure what to do

I have PIPs that were put in in 2006.
I had them done by Mr Aslam at Linia Cromwell, Huntingdon clinic.

I have had pain now and again and my right breast itches around the nipple terribly.
Ive contacted the surgery both by email (direct to surgeon and manager) and also phoned and spoke to the customer service lady. To have it confirmed that my implants are PIP. They havent got back to me yet, 3 days on but I know they are anyway because I remember Mr Aslam telling me so. At consultation he also said they were very safe and would sithstand being stabbed in the chest! Unsure what to do Icon_eek

Anyway I am 4 years post op, am looking redundancy straight in the eye so cant possibly afford to take out a loan for removal and new implants and have only just finished paying off for these ones!

I am going to my gp tomorrow to ask for an ultrasound and go from there. The aftercare with Linia hasnt been great so I doubt they will help me if they have ruptured anyway.

I dont know what to do and feel so gutted.

Hi hun, sorry you're feeling like this, i know the NHS will take them out for free but wont replace them, however maybe you could discuss your options for re-implantation through the NHS, i would be interested in hearing what they say.

I would also get legal advice if your company refuse to take them out and replace them

You have lots of support on here x
