ok so today i went my doctors over nothing really just needed a repeat prescription, my doctor was off so there was a locum doctor on who i had never seen before. i just so happened to mention sillicone sheets for scars and how to use them he asked me what they were called so i told him dermatix and its comes in sheets and a gel. after the doctors i went the chemist and the doctor has goven me a 60g tube of dermatix gel (worth £90) and 10 dermatix silicone sheets (worth £11 each) is the doctor mad lol but im not complaining

Re: dermatix
wow! There's no way my doc would prescribe those and I'd be happy to pay the prescription charges rather than their actual cost! LOL
Just check with your PS first first before using anything on your scarring hunni, I use cica-care silicone sheets but wasn't allowed to use them till I was 12 weeks post-op but in general, it's usually 6 weeks post-op hun. xx
