hi everyone, thank you for all your good wishes, ONE DAY POST OP! 948189

my op went well and im not in too much pain, except my right boob was very swollen afterwards, and as i had drains in too it felt very uncomfortable, now that im home ive noticed that the same boob keeps 'popping', especially when i breathe in, is this ok?

Also i have some blood around said boobs dressing, and it feels and looks more swollen than leftie, and it was my smaller boob which is now bigger than my bigger boob (if that makes sense)..

will this settle down? i have loads of painkillers and antibiotics to take, still feeling like im not here, but feeling very, very, happy.

your smaller boob may be more swollen due to the pocket being smaller and suffering more jostling with the implant,ie its had to be pushed about more than the larger one.

Hey Izzie, good to have you back with us! ONE DAY POST OP! 828394

The popping sensation is just fluid and air within the pocket hun, you may find when you touch them, it may gurgle too, it's nothing to worry about at all hunni and like melloumaw said, your smaller breast may well have suffered more trauma in surgery hence it being more swollen hun. xx

Thanks its nice to be back, , i thought it may be that, will it go soon? as feels very odd and its only popping in the one that is more swollen.

im not sure if i have rippling at the mo,but i can feel a bubble on the top of leftie thats a bit like when you open a jar and can de-press the lid.
i also had gurgling/farting boob syndrome and clicking from my scars,
the ps or pcc doesnt prepare you for this,but at least the ladies on here do lol.
if your not in more pain/discomfort than usual then i think most perculiar/unusual noises and sensations are normal

Hi Izzie,

I am now 8 days post op and very much like you the PS said my right breast was tighter and it felt soooo stretched and sore, even the sutures hurt more but it's getting a lot better. Even though it still feels tighter they look more the same now.

My left had a lot more room so the sutures are right in the crease and look great but my right cut is up a bit higher and although my PS said it will heal just as well I don't think it will be as pretty as the left.
