bra shopping for first bras
Hi all, i have tried searching on here but is taking ages. I have my 6 week check up next week and i am hoping i will get the all clear to get some normal bras. I don't have the money for a massive spend spree at the moment but i would like to maybe get a couple of bras to start with, where is the best place to go la senza? I know its a bit boring I thought maybe just a black and white one to start with and possibly some type of multi way bra for halterneck and strapless tops. Any recommendations on styles or places anyone? I think i will be measured as a 30/32 d/dd or there abouts. I will of course experiment in colour and style as the weeks go buy and i manage to get a bit more money.

Re: bra shopping for first bras
I buy them from sales they are so much cheaper and you get some lovely bras for half the price. Other wise asda and M&S do some nice underwired t-shirt bras for work at a resonable price. Primark also do a nice range for cheap now.

Re: bra shopping for first bras
As these will be your first bras, you'll need to ensure you get 'properly fitted' hun, so although Asda and Peacocks sell good bras really cheaply, until you get a proper fitting I wouldn't buy their bras just yet.
Bravissimo start bras at a D cup and are along with other 'specialist' lingerie shops probably the best place to be fitted.
Debenhams is OK to get a fitting hun, M&S aren't bad either but I've heard
too many complaints afterwards about M&S not fitting properly. I've also heard far too many complaints about La Senzas fitting to recommend them to you hun.
That first fitting is very important though as your new boobs will still be needing good support so you want the best fit possible from your new bras, once you get your correct size, you can then shop in the cheaper shops such as Asda or Peacocks and take advantage of their bargains too. xxx

Re: bra shopping for first bras
why dont you get fitted at bravissimo, its a free fitting so no need to buy if you dont want to then try the cheaper places as bravissimo are quite expensive but worth it IMO. I realise you maybe come up a different size in a different shops, but personally I dont think its worthing spending a forture on your first bras as you could well go up in size in the coming months. I learnt the hard way and now have bras I cant wear.
Good luck hun in where ever you chose to go and more importantly enjoy, this is the fun bit! xx

Re: bra shopping for first bras
I agree with Cookie. You should get measured first and then you can go to the cheaper shops and get some bras.
If you are above a DD though, it will be hard for you to find bras in the cheap shops. A lot of them only go up to a DD or they don't do a small back size with a big cup size.
I have found that I can't buy cheap bras anymore!
Good luck!
