Hello ladies

Another maybe silly question. I have had a few days of work, when I'm at work I wear my macom as my work is strenuous and it gives me a lot of support. I put my macom back on today for work and when I took it off my boobs hurt as if they was swollen. Do you think it could be the Macom holding them down? Am I doing wrong keep wearing my macom ? Xx

I noticed something similar - I have been wearing sports bras and non-wired bras 24/7 but thought I'd sleep in the Macom and had a really uncomfortable night and then sore boobs the following day. I even loosened them in the middle of the night. It feels like it's pushing them together and especially sore in the middle as a result. It's weird because it used to be super comfortable! I think it's just a bit too compressive all-over - not in a supportive/helpful way like a sports bra is?!

Weirdly I too don't find the macom supportive - it's more just compression. They don't seem to support them from underneath enough and when I've tried on a normal sports bra it feels so much better - I can't wait to get into them!

At the moment I'm wearing a compression belt as well as the macom which holds them down therefore less jiggling but totally agree - I think sports bras give better support underneath. Try that instead Carrie! Xx

When I don't wear the macom they look big and a nice shape. When I do wear the macom they look little and then go frankien size shape once I take it off. Do you think I could be making them go a odd shape by wearing the macom xxx

Maybe your macom is too small? At your stage I don't think you need compression just good support. I like the m&s high impact Eco sports bra, it's not the most flattering but I'm not squished init and it's great support. Perfect day bra. Think they are £29.50 fir pack of 2 xx

M&S have s sale on at the moment and the post surgery non underwired bras are included, it's brilliant if anyone wants a supportive post surgery bra.
Only using them for another few weeks then back to underwired again.
I've just come out my Macom bra and will use it as a sports bra if I can.

I also went to debenhams and got a post surgery bra, it's s full cup so looks massive but it's so comfortable and its gives maximum support. It's a bit pricey at £18 as only need it for 5 weeks but I will live in it. It's def better than the Macom.
