Gummy bear implants?
Hey ladies, Something I've wondered about for a while....
I have Mentor 430cc high profile anatomical implants, does anyone know if these are what people call gummy bear implants, I can't quite work it out?
Thanks x

Re: Gummy bear implants?
Hey muddy,
I think so. I thought "gummy bear" was just the term for silicone implants (rather than saline?)think it's generally an American term, although I could, (and often am,) totally wrong
Lol!
Lovely new avi bra btw xx

Re: Gummy bear implants?
The term gummy bear, is what the Americans use for what we call form stable. It just means, if you were to cut the implant in half all the gel inside would stay as it was. None would leak because its gel rather than liquid. I'm pretty sure most implants have to be that way so that if rupture happens, the gel doesn't end up inside you x x

Re: Gummy bear implants?
Yep, as I thought. So as we don't say "gummy bear" over here in the UK, I think we should start our own terminology craze.

Re: Gummy bear implants?
Jelly baby tits is way better!
It's a gimmicky word the yanks are using. Saline is the norm over there, and the 4/5th gen silicone that we use here has only just been fda approved there(coz they'd idiots and don't realise that silicone is an inert product, but that's just my opinion!). Obviously they have to put a confectionery name on it to entice them!!

Re: Gummy bear implants?
[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] I thought they must be, do you mind if I ask how far PO you are Hun? Have yours softened a lot, mine do feel softer but not like really soft, they still feel quite ridged and I'm not convinced they will soften much more from what I've read, because they are form stable? I know I've probably got more changes ahead, I've just convinced myself. You had roughly the same size implant. I can feel the implant in my right boob quite a lot, like lumpy under my skin but I kind of expected it with having such little breast tissue to start with x

Re: Gummy bear implants?
I have the same implants too and mine are soft but to be honest I haven't noticed much difference in mine since day one.

Re: Gummy bear implants?
Hi muddypaws. I'm 9 mo this and 2 weeks. They have softened but not as soft as real boobs as you would expect. My right is not as soft as my left. I think that's where they will stay now. I'm very happy with them though. They jiggle that's all I care about xx

Re: Gummy bear implants?
Mine are not hard just a little firm not too soft not too hard. My right is a little firmer as I think because they put a bigger implant in there. I must update my picture trail. I think I will do that tonight. Xx
