Hi Girls,

When did you all start applying scar treatment to your scars.......My nurse said 3 weeks but i think that is a little soon. I am not over confident with her advice to be honest.

I was thinking about 5 weeks.

And what did you use?

Hello hun, i have never used anything on my scars and they have healed so well. I got asked at my 6 week check what i had used because they looked so good and she couldnt believe it when i said nothing!
I have always been too scared just incase i got an infection lol xx

I didnt use anything last time and my scars were still red and raised at 7 months post op! Think i may use something this time x

I didnt use anything on my scars at all and i can barely see them.

I started on the Bio Oil at six weeks PO. Mine are still pinky, so after a year if they're still that way I'll see hwat my PS recommend

My surgeon said to use e45 cream after 3 weeks x

I was told I could start using bio oil at 2 weeks PO, which I did.
