pale areolas... Empty pale areolas...

Post by annefinackapan 18th July 2009, 7:56 am

Are any one elses areolas quite pale post BA? Mine are now a 'dusky' pale pink. This is okay because as my areolas are quite big Boobs (breastfeeding then an implant are the culprits!) due to the new paleness the size seems less noticable now I think. Im thinking is the blood supply less or is it something to do with the nerve endings?
As I am a bit of a science geek I like to know the cause for stuff but, just hoping this is normal I suppose. :dunno:

Hey funny you should say this because i've just noticed mine are paler too, and i prefer the colour because they were too dark before almost brown in colour and now a nice pale pink, i wonder why this is :dunno: x x

mmm, not sure on that one. I've just had a look and I think mine are a bit paler too now you mention it!

Perhaps like you say its because of pressure from the implant on nerve endings and blood vessels ... :dunno:

Mine are too, I like it too, maybe its because they've been stretched out a bit and the blood vessels are stretched out, im going to ask my ps though because i was wondering about it x

Hi,i have before that if you're not too keen on the paleness you can actually get some pinkness, redness cosmetically tatooed back on.Don't think id fancy it myself though, might be just a bit too painful !x

I think mine are normal (well, what they were like before) but it does make sense they can be paler. I know mine are much larger now, which I love.
