Only one consultation?
I am booked in to see Rajit Grover next month. He's expensive but comes highly rated and obviously he's head of BAAPS. Would I be mad to book with him if I'm happy and have done my research or should I see another surgeon just for a comparison? And how much does it matter if I like their bedside manner as long as they do what I want and do a good job of it?

Re: Only one consultation?
I booked after seeing just one surgeon. I had intended to see several but there didn't see much point as felt comfortable with the first one I saw. My husband accompanied me to the consultation and they seemed to be on the same level too.
Personally, while probably not strictly necessary for a good job, I do think that some kind of rapport is desirable.

I only seen one surgeon, I really liked all the people I spoke to. A few people went with THG so about 4 days after consultation I booked with them, I go in on the 29/7

I only saw one, and it's my one regret. Even if you love the surgeon, you should see others for comparison of size and placement. Then you can come to what's best for you and go back to your original to discuss

Re: Only one consultation?
I saw 4 surgeons and it was great to hear them say similar things in terms of how to achieve what I wanted. The surgeon I chose I had a good with and the clinic offered a good aftercare.
Price was the third factor I looked at.

Re: Only one consultation?
I saw 3, and glad I did as it's in my nature to research and if I didn't I would have looked back and always wondered if his opinion was the right one. Seeing more than 1 will reassure you of the choice of implant, even if you stick with the original surgeon. Maybe go to one of the big commercial clinics as their consultations are usually free. Spire sometimes offer a free consultation too if you look on their website.
