Re: July Buddies
I had a lot of breast tissue so think that's helped with the tightness been extremely lucky with no pain just the odd sore twinge. Keep on top of your mess and you'll be right as rain in no time x

Re: July Buddies
Had mine done Friday, in my sports bra, no band. I feel fine, bit awkward doing silly things like opening stiff door handles and brushing my teeth. Getting a bit breathless now and again. They gave me painkillers which are great, and antibiotics. For some reason I thought they would look bigger than they do :-)

Re: July Buddies
Remember the skin is so taught and the implants haven't soften and dropped yet so I guess this is why they can appear smaller. There's a great pic on one of the info threads about dropping and the difference at 2 and 5 weeks which really shows this.
Glad you're feeling fine, woke up feeling even better today which I know will mean I think I can do more than I should!! They're definitely feeling less tight today. My parents are coming over today which will be interesting.
Off to have a small bath in a bit and hopefully will finally go to the toilet soon

Re: July Buddies
I'm dreading the loo after this codeine! I've got some lactulose so will see how that goes.
Does anyone know roughly how much implants weigh? I had my weight before surgery and well today its crazy! I guess I've got fluid and whatnot too x

Re: July Buddies
Hi girls,
I've been having an online detox since the day of my op! 16 days post op now and have done lots of sitting around, reading and have started watching the Sopranos so keeping fairly occupied!
Just updated my story in the surgery stories section if anyone would like a read :)
16 days in though and I'm feeling pretty good but still reminding myself to take it easy! I saw my surgeon 2 days ago and he said I can start putting creams etc on my scars as soon as the scabs fall off in a few days. They've settled so much already! xx

Re: July Buddies
Hey! Good to see you back and feeing good! I am really having to remind myself that I am still only 7 days post op!
Just had a read of your story, fab! Sounds like you're healing nicely.
I had my 7 day check up with the cosmetic specialist nurse today who removed the dressings and said I can shower (but to ensure that I dry properly under where the surgical tape is with a hair dryer on cool). I cannot wait to wash properly and my hair esp in this weather! Seem to be healing fine as well.
Got a few more days and then back to work on Monday.
How is everyone else getting on? xx
