Hi,

I keep posting questions in lots of different places the more I become acquainted with information about breast surgery. Im at the stage where I have now decided to go with Dr Oelbrandt in Belgium-surgery date is 19th June. He provided lots of advice and gave me the choice of different brands. I think Im going with Nagor (Impleo). Im still toying with volume although think I will go moderate. Ive took the advice from you lovely ladies and researched Nagor and Mentor product catalogues and now have an idea of what they offer. Next step is trying out with rice and also having further consultations with other surgeons to see what their
advice is.

What would be helpful is pictures of anyone who has had either Nagor or Mentor implants with and uplift (as I will also be having this). Ive looked on real self site but just wondered if anyone knew of any other places to look (as a newbie I know I can't ask to see pics). Im probably looking at going with moderate 240,  270 or even 300. Advice about smooth or textured implants would also be great.

If this post is better connected elsewhere let me know please-xx

Hi Bonniegirl. Theres a couple of links above in the stickies with post op pics, there might be some uplift ones there too. Im not sure you'll get something so specific as to the actual brand of implant, but broaden your internet searches and it might pull up more. Also, check peoples picture status, as there may be a couple of girls willing to share with newbies.

As for smooth v textured, textured supposedly reduces the risks of CC. They help the pocket to stick to the implant. But some people would rather a smooth. Its a question best discussed with your surgeon, and what he thinks is best for you.

Thanks Charlii, I'll keep looking. I never thought researching breast surgery would be so complicated and time consuming: Fortunately, I'm off work with a broken ankle so have lots of spare time xx
