Stretched Areola?
Hello ladies,
Before I had my BA, I asked both my patient coordinator and surgeon if I would see any change in the size of my nipples/areola and both of them said they had never heard of that happening and not to worry about it.
However, my BA has most certainly increased the size of my nipples and when I mentioned this to my nurse at 1week post op she said this does happen but they will shrink back once the skin has stretched to accommodate the implants.
They're not terrible or anything, but I ADORED my nipples pre BA and I'd like to know from your personal experiences what tends to happen to your nipples seeing as no one that should know seems to have a clue about this phenomenon!
(Apart from that still super chuffed with the results, no dropping or fluffing yet but we're perky and pain free - result!)

Re: Stretched Areola?
Hi Emlua
Im glad your pleased with your results, My areola has stretched a tiny bit but im pleased about it as before i had very small nipples which was a bit embarrasing!
Im not sure if it is a permanent result as im only 3 month post op but mine havent gone back to normal and im sure you will have some dropping and fluffing to come hun!

Re: Stretched Areola?
Mine stretched a little, but they seem to suit my bigger boobs. I don't really mind if they go back, it's a very small difference. But I notice it.
Re: Stretched Areola?
my nips were bigger than my boobs so it nice that my boobs are now bigger than my nips but it did stretch them alittle bit more

Re: Stretched Areola?
Mine have gotten bigger and i love them now because they were tiny before and now they look feminine :) they should have known that a BA would stretch your aerola a bit seeing as its stetching the skin around it. Glad you're pleased with your result otherwise x
Re: Stretched Areola?
My nipples have stayed the same size but I had big areolas to start of with, so dont see much difference other than they look how they are supposed to now that my breasts don't sag x

I'm the same! My nips were tiny before, but they've gotten a nice size now. I would have thought the surgeon would have known about that though!
