225 will this be too small Empty 225 will this be too small

Post by KATIE03 12th July 2009, 8:33 pm

Hi, I am 5ft 7", weigh 8st 11 and a 34a and am considering a BA. I want a natural look and just want to be in proportion. I had a consultation yesterday with Simon Knight at Spire in Leeds where he recommended 225 cc over the muscle implants. I am quite thin and would have expected him to recommend under the muscle and am now quite confused about the size and everything. Ideally I would like to be between a 34b to a 34C, but am concerned that due to me being very thin with little breast tissue the implants would look fake and you would see an outline. I would be grateful to hear from anyone else in a similar position.

Hi hun, I had overs and went from a 32A to 32f with 410cc but I wanted to look a D/DD which I do in clothes. I would have thought to achieve a B/C 225cc should get you the look you are after.

What about the under or over issue, am paranoid about rippling and seeing an outline!

I dont have an outline but I was warned I could get one. If you would prefer unders though hun I would go see the surgeon again. It's such a difficult choice to make. Maybe get a few consultations and see what some other surgeons say.

Thank you I am thinking of booking another consultation with Mybreast but then that will probably lead to more confusion and a third to see if there are two matching opinions! Its all very stressful!!

it is a very stressful thing whe you don't know what would be best.
i had unders twice and i hated them, i now have overs and love them so much.
some girls prefer unders but in my own experience overs are so much more natural both to feel and in the way they move and also to look at.
if i was you and your surgeon has reccomended overs then i would go with his decision.
when i had unders you could see the shape etc much more they were very round looking.
have a look at as many girls pics as you can hun that helps alot.

It is hard hun, but it's best to have more than one consultation. You can then decide which surgeon you are more confident in and which one will give you your desired result. Maybe take some pics with you of what you want them to look like and they can explain how you can achieve it.

yes definately, as misf1 says take pics with you. i think this is the best thing any girl can do, it lets your surgeon know exactly the look and size you are after.

Defo go get a few opinions but at end of the day the surgeon knows best. If he's suggesting overs I'm sure he has a very good reason.

With unders you lose a certain amount as the muscle squishes the implant. Maybe he has suggested overs as you can't take a much larger implant that you could possibly need as you would with unders.

I think you have to find the surgeon who you feel the most comfortable with, and then trust their judgement. It's true the surgeon knows best, but every surgeon has their own opinion too!

I'm similar stats to you - 32aa pre op, 165cm, 54kg - and I just got 240cc unders, as wanted a conservative, natural result. The implant I have is a slightly denser gel which means it's less likely to end up with visible ripples too. I think I will end up a large B. Maybe a small C. I won't know for a while!

Are you very flat katie or do you have some tissue? You prob have enough tissue if your ps suggested overs. I have unders and was quite flat pre op (28AA/A). I like my unders as they are nice and round looking (i like the round look) and they feel lovely & pert & supported even without a bra x

Hi Hun

I had 250 over the muscle, i started with a little tissue and im sure if your surgeons suggested overs you will have tissue there also with a smaller implant its less likely to cause problems such as rippling.

I went from a 32a/b to a 32dd but look around a C cup your welcome to look at my pictures if it will help.
