Hi Ladies,

Just a quick question....How long is it until we are allowed to sleep flat? I'm really struggling sleeping sitting up at the moment. It will be totally worth it in the end and i know its not forever but i was just wondering?? :)

I found it hard too, I did it until I had my first check up after 13 days. It made my back hurt terrible. I think as long as your shoulders are slightly raised your ok. Do what you feel is comfortable.

I was told 2 weeks to help ease swelling, maybe put some pillows under your knees to help take the pressure off your back x

Thank you all so much for your replies!!! :) :)

I will try and hold out a little longer, nice to see how long you all did it for and i won't do any damage if it gets too much.

Nads - I will definitely try pillows!!! :) Tonic28 - I'm really good thank you, been a little uncomfortable today for the first time but better now. Hope all is well with you!!!

Aw! Glad you are doing o.k. Amy!!

It is to help with swelling...Jam yourself between pillows and under your knees  You wont do any harm if you slip down etc....but if it is uncomfortable your boobs soon wake up and tell you.

Hope you continue to progress well!!!xxxxxxxx
