Re: sun and swimming
When did you have your surgery? generally no swimming until 3 months.. and no sun on boobs/sunbathing until 6 months. So chest are and boobs completely covered and scars covered for a year x

Re: sun and swimming
You can go swimming as soon as you get the all clear from your surgeon which is generally between 6 to 12 weeks. As soon as your surgeon says you're fine, you're free to treat your augmented boobs as you would your natural ones
One thing I would advise is to keep an eye out for spitting stitches. If you see any stitches coming through it would be best not to swim. Just because the stitch will have then made an opening and this then leaves you at risk of infection and the water of any public swimming area is full of all kinds, so not worth risking. Xx

Re: sun and swimming
I went on holiday at 9 weeks post op. My surgeon told me I could go topless if I wanted providing I covered the scars with sun block. As everyone else has said really - cover scars.
As for swimming I don't think I quite realised how little I'd been using my chest muscles since the op. I'm a really strong swimmer usually and I almost drowned in the sea because I couldn't use my arms properly. It hurt my chest muscles loads. So be warned.
