Absolutely shattered
I'm now 5 days post op and I just can't stop falling asleep! I came off cocodemol 2 days ago and have since just had a couple of paracetamols in the morning. Just wondering if anyone else felt this tired after their op? I'm getting lots of sleep at night but it's like I can't keep my eyes open in the day either it's driving me mad! X

Hi Sian, I was like that for the first week. It was ridiculous kept having to go to bed for a nap! It's all normal and will get better soon x

Same here, it only lasted a week or two and I kind of miss that heavy, drowsy feeling now. Make the most of it!

I was quite sleepy too, but mine was/is weird...I get that drowsy/just falling to sleep sensation, then when I close my eyes I'm not tired at all and actually feel wide awake!! Very strange. x

Re: Absolutely shattered
Thanks for the replies girls, its so reassuring to come on to the forum and know others have been through the same thing!
Today is the first day I've not had a nap (yet) and I generally feel a little bit more like the old me!
The past two days have been a nightmare for me though. I hadn't been the loo since Monday morning and for someone who normally goes like clockwork every day (lol) it was really bothering me so I thought I'd help things along with Senokot. BIG MISTAKE yesterday I spent the whole day close to the toilet with the worst belly ache ever. Not nice!
The journey for boobies sure is a bumpy ride lol xxx
