Wound isn't healing Empty Wound isn't healing

Post by cupcakeaholic 29th April 2013, 10:33 pm

I had an open wound on my right breast just on the t junction which has now healed but now another open wound has appeared just to the left of that. This Saturday it will be 6 weeks post op so I am starting to really worry as it doesn't seem right. I have been to see my ps (about a week and a half ago when the wound was in the t junction) and he said not to worry and to keep using this sterile fluid to clean it and to put a dressing on it until it heals. I have been doing everything he advised to no avail. :( Every time I change the dressings there is what looks like pus on the dressing (sorry to be so graphic). I have already had a course of antibiotics off my GP. Does anybody have any experience of this that can advise me what to do?
