had my wound check today. everything is fine. Took my tape off which hurt like hell! I was told by a nurse at Aurora that i'd have to have the thick waterproof tape replaced and wear it until week 5 ... BUT the nurse today just replaced it with some micropore tape which is thinner and was also placed much lower so i'm not restricted to tops that come up to the collar wound check 899188i mentioned the floaty feeling and also the tight muscles etc and nurse said it was all normal for this early post op because of swelling/fluid/air etc that's around the implant, she reckons that all the strange sensations will probably continue up until the 6 week mark.
