Hey all, I've put on weight because of giving up smoking! I'm so worried cause ill lose weight and it'll ruin my impending ba and uplift date (20th April) what should I do! I don't want to put surgery off, but think I'm kidding myself if I think I can lose the weight before hand. Thanks in advance xxx

I was advised by my surgeon that 10lbs either side of your target weight won't affect the size/ shape of the breasts. I asked because I tend to gain and lose weight all the time, so this was reassuring. Any more than this and you run the risk of affecting the 'look' but you seem like you'll be fine. You still have 17 days which is enough to lose a couple of lbs or at least ensure you don't gain any more. XX

I'm sure that you'll manage to lose at least half of that before your surgery chicken and the rest of that you should be okay to lose after because it wont be as big an amount. If you're worried book another consultation to go back and speak to your surgeon lovely and ask for advice =] it's what you're paying for x x x x

You'll be fine lovely. Anything up a stone either way won't have an impact.... Unless of course you're yo-yo dieting. So don't stress lovely. Get yourself on a healthy eating plan now to prepare your body for the surgery (the better your diet, the better your healing) and then not only will you start to lose weight you'll be doing your body a favour too in promoting good healing.

You'll be fine Hug
