Hi Girls

just got my nuffeild letter through and it says i may need a pre-op assessment, what happens when you have one? did anyone get charged for theirs?

Didn't get charged for mine, they took blood did MRSA swabs, measured my legs for surgical stockings, talked me through what would happen on the day, aftercare and if I had any questions then I could ask also had blood pressure taken and weighed me. Took around an hour and my nurse explained every part of the day. When's yours?xx

Ah sorry just seen days you may need one! Mine said that then they rang a week before to book me in for it. Oh also goes over any meds you may be on currently xx

Nuffield rang me last night and did my questionnaire over the phone...med history and allergies etc. Im not sure if this is the same thing?
When is your op? Did you go with James in the end? I've got him on the 6th of Feb...NERVOUS! x

Wow! It feels like I've been waiting forever but its not that far away now!!
Im going back for a second consultation next week to make sure im happy with size and placement...he wants to go over with me but im not so convinced shrug there are just too many contradicting opinions out there! I know James is good though so if he feels it right then I'll go along with it.
If i c anyone on the day I'll be thinking "hmmm is that littlewellies?" lol
I look forward to keeping up with your progress x

when did you book? i only booked last week its been a whirlwind a little. I know how you feel, its a bit of a leap of faith, i wasnt sure about 290s but so many friends of friends have had their with him and they turned out amazing, plus i saw tors picturetrail with 260s and they are poss the best boobs i have ever seen so im not stressed anymore. do you know what time your op is? im not going down til 5! :( x
