Disappointed

Heyy Girls, I was meant to have a consultation today. I even got to the clinic the lady then at reception told me my consultation had been cancelled as the surgeon couldnt make it in today (no idea why maybe ill). They said they had tried to contact me and had left a message on my home phone. They had the wrong mobile number down which i dont understand as gave them the right one twice! Once over the phone and once on my form i had to fill in before consultation. I wasnt best pleased as had to arrange childcare for today for no reason when i got home i checked the answer phone and NO message so now i am fuming. Do you think they were just trying to fob me off (maybe they had double booked). The lady at reception said she would get the surgeons secretary to call me to re arrange but i had to wait weeks for this appointment as he is such a busy surgeon.

I am now in a foul mood

Oh I would be gutted too :( I think this is really out of order. Have you considered any other surgeons or clinics? I would tell them that you will go elsewhere if they can't get you an appt ASAP, I'm sure they will find space then xx

It does sound like an excuse was made hun. That's very poor of them indeed and your anger is quite understandable Hug

Awww sorry to hear that hunny, I would be annoyed too especially as you'd arranged child care. Is this the surgeon you really want? I would phone them and tell them that no message was left and that they did have the right number and it's not on to lie to you or fob you off . Otherwise your money and custom will be taken else where as could you trust them to go through With the entire ba? Or ask for another discount as a good will gesture!!!! X

Yes i am wanting to see someone at transform aswell but as this was my prefered surgeon and i was paying for the consultation i wanted to see him first. Im hoping for a call first thing from the secretary if not i will call and say just that if i cant get another appointment asap i will go elsewhere.

I had got myself all hyped up aswell. I spose i best take the boobie pics out of my bag i wouldnt want them falling out haha xxx

Ah no! I had this happen to me twice and ended up going to someone else. Until the last few months we didnt have a surgeon on island. I went to my local clinic and they set me up a consultation with a surgeon they recommend from England but he only travels here every 2 months. Twice they cancelled my appointment a few days before hand. He was even willing to operate on me the next month having only a telephone consultation and wanted me to email him a photo of my breasts. I wouldnt have met him until the morning of the op! Was so annoyed. I had cancelled work twice and sorted out childcare like yourself. They didnt seem to care much at the clinic either. So glad I changed and feel really happy with the surgeon I have. Best go with your gut instinct on this one. xx

If it was me I think this would put me off and I'd go elsewhere!

Aw bless ya chick, what a complete mess around! I would go somewhere else, if they can't be bothered to ring you and tell you about the cancelled appointment they shouldn't get your £4000!!! x

Yep I use that excuse a lot. Complete lie, they would have got at least one of the numbers right.

Some things are for a reason .. ..maybe look at other Surgeons , or think twice about them , you haven't even been seen and getting messed about already.
