Transform called me today to say they cannot do my op on the date planned.. they made a mistake. :-(

i cannot do any other dates as i am ties to school holidays with my job.

I cant stop crying.

I have asked for my money back but they seem insistent on making another appointment but i cant do it and why should i have to wait. it has taken me 2 years to lose 8 stone, why should i wait another second to have my boobs fixed?

where do i go from here girls?

They broke the agreement lovely. Their mistake, they should give you a full refund.

Don't settle for any excuses, they messed up. You only agreed to the surgery based on the date offered. Now that date is unavailable due to their error, you want your money babe...

Fairy catcher that's terrible news :(

I don't see any reason you can't have your money back if you want it. You paid that money after you agreed to have a certain procedure with a certain surgeon on a certain date. If they broke their side of the contract I don't see why you can't have your money back. You never know, if you insist the date may magically appear again?

What date was you due for surgery?

it was the 17th October. The woman has phoned me back and is 'looking into' what has happened and is going to speak to Mr persico. Where the hell am i going to find a new surgeon who can operate in 4 weekes time. This is a nightmare. i have been waiting years for this. god i am so gutted..

this can still go ahead lovely. Trust me, they WANT your money and will do all they can to keep it. They 'may' even go so far as to offer another surgeon if Mr Persico is unable to proceed, but please do check them out first FC to be sure you're happy with them before agreeing, if this is a choice offered to you.

Stand your ground lovely, if it's a case of them having to juggle someone else to fit you in then that's how it's got to be with this being the only date you can take. xxx

i did say to them that i was amazed they could turn away 5.5k! i told them over and over this was my only date.. apparently the problem is is that they also have another major on the same day and they only do one major per day! I am having an uplift... can mr p not do 2 as they are long or something? i cant believe i am being left to stew all weekend

That may or may not be the reason hun, I don't know.... I've heard that many excuses from Transform I don't think they'd know the truth if it hit them smack in the face!

Tell them if that's the case then requesting the other lady put her surgery back would be the best option given that you have a limited amount of time to have this surgery done and if they cant do that, you want your money back.

I'm so sorry to hear this hun, it's looking pretty glum at the minute but this will get sorted and you will get your boobies you just have to stay positive!!

You've done all of the hard work now, the rest is just a waiting game!

I think the clinic knowing you will cancel if you can't get that date will probably try and organise it for you because it is a lot of money. Alternatively get a full refund ASAP which you are completely entitled to and take it elsewhere! You have enough time to find somebody else, luckily you were made aware of this with enough time to find another surgeon so don't worry hun xxx

Oh hun I am so sorry you are having to go through this. I work at a school to so I know what you are going through. I was cancelled 3 days before my surgery but was rescheduled for the following week but it has still screwed me up going back in time before the kids went back.

I think they will try and move things about for you hun as there is no way they are going to want to lose your money and as others have said they have broke their side of the contract so you are more than entitled to get a full refund. Sorry to hear they have cancelled, I am sure they will sort it out if it means them loosing your money. As Alice said thankfully they have told you now and not left it until the last minute, so you do have time to research another surgeon and book a consultation fingers crossed

Thanks again ladies, i have spoken to the canova medical group this evening where mr p also works, they have a slot on 13th october but it is more money... eek. have to get my money back off transform first! light at the end of the tunnel!

would that be really mean on the other person though? wouldnt want them feeling like me right now! i still might HAVE to go with transform if they wont refund me... i wont be happy about waiting months though x

Of course they may be upset... but only for a couple of days, they'd then look forward to a new date convenient for them. You on the other hand don't have that option. You NEED this date, so out of the two of you, it just makes sense to put back the lady who it would cause the least inconvenience. xx

Also, maybe it wasnt a mistake.... maybe they offered your spec to someone else as they could get her money too by giving her what she wanted and thought they would be able to fob you off as you had already paid.... god im cynical today.... x

Hope you get this sorted honey, really gutted for you. Stand your ground & don't take any **naughty word**. There -must- be something you can do that suits you best, not them, & I'm sure they can't keep your money as they've broken their side of the agreement. Trading Standards!! x
