What is normal?

What is normal? Empty What is normal?

Im 3 days post op now and ive been doing really well, worst thing about this has been not being able to look after my babies, but we're muddling through.
That said, I have a couple of questions. I have general aches and pains, but since last night a have been getting really sharp shooting pains around one of my crease incisions. I've never had a cut so deep that I needed stitches before, but my OH reassures me that it is normal when the cut is healing, I just wanted to double check with everyone here though as I can't understand why I'm not getting the same pain around the other crease incision or my nipples (had a Cresent lift too).

Also, how long does the swelling usually last? Do the implants begin to drop as the swelling eases or are these two separate stages?

All perfectly normal hun xx Hug

Make sure you keep your meds / pain killers up  Ice packs can also help and be very relieving

Swelling can last for a few weeks, and sleeping propped up helps the swelling

Dropping is a process that happens over a period of time so happens simultaneously as the sweeling goes down but also carries on beyond that xx

Hope that helps hun xx Hug congrats

Very normal hun, some of the nerves in your skin will have been cut or damaged during the operation, but shooting pains and twinges near the scar or even in the breast area are perfectly normal and a good sign of healing.
