Implant size
Hi girls, I had my first consultation with Simon Withey at Mybreast 2 weeks ago. I am currently a size 32b ish (previously a 32D per baby and breast feeding!)
I am 100% happy with Mr Withey and plan to go ahead with surgery in around January.
I don't want to go massive but want do want something!
Anyway.... Mr Withey recommended that we go with 240 or 270cc partial unders, he thought the 300cc would be too big on my frame (I'm 5'2" and about 53kg/just over 8st)
Now after reading a lot of the posts on here, it seems like a lot of girls wished they'd gone bigger.
So, do I go with the 270ccs or should I ask/push a bit more for the 300cc. Like I said, I don't want to look massive and unnatural and part of me thinks that mr Withey is an expert in his field and I should go with what he suggests? I just don't want to be disappointed after!

I think you should go with what your PS has suggested for your body x

Re: Implant size
I agree, he will know what implant to use to get the look your looking for and that will suit your frame. I think we all torture ourselves trying to imagine what we are going to look like, and worrying that they will be too big or too small!

I couldn't agree more Jayne, it's a nightmare! At the end of the day we can only put our trust in the surgeon and prey he interprets our wish correctly... Which must be difficult when we're not even sure what we want ourselves! I took a collage of boob pictures to show my surgeon so he could get a better idea of the size and look I wanted

Re: Implant size
As kay says deciding on size is so tricky.
As the other girlies have suggested I think ultimately it is best to trust your surgeon. He's seen loads and loads of girls of all different sizes so he would have a far clearer idea of what would suit your frame than anyone else. If you show him pictures of the sort of "look" you're going for that'd be a great way of making sure your ps knows what you're hoping for.

Re: Implant size
My surgeon suggested I go for between 280 and 320. I am 5'5 and 50k and 32b before the op. I was going to get 280 as didn't want them to be too big but at the last minute thought about everyone saying they wish they'd gone bigger and ended up having 320 unders. 10 days post op I am wearing 32dd sports bra and very happy with the result! Figure that I'll end up 32d and happy with that. Am glad I didn't go smaller. Have had days I wish I'd pushed for bigger but because my frame is narrow the implants already stick out a little at the side so I guess that the surgeon was right and they're as big as I can go without looking really unnatural. I'd get the biggest size he recommends or one size bigger if he will put them! Ps i also think the rice test looks bigger than the real thing...Good luck x

Re: Implant size
It all depends on what you want to end up with, I have always said go with the biggest offered as that way you know you went with the max and you won't be beating yourself afterwards wishing you went with the biggest option. Go with what your surgeon suggests x

Re: Implant size
My surgeon asked me what i'd be more unhappy with
a) if my boobs were slightly smaller than I wanted
b) if you could slightly see the shape of the top of the implant
I didn't want to risk seeing the implant and wanted to reduce my chances of rippling so went with the smaller choice. That said I have had a visit from the boob greed fairy this week! To be honest you'll look great either way, the difference in width and depth is only a few millimetres!
Best of luck lady

Hi I assume you have had your BA now and am looking for advice please. My PS said I could have 260 or 300 but he said 260 would look better on my frame possibly 300 would be too big. I have exactly same measurements as you and was wondering what you went for and what size it took you too and most importantly do they suit your frame. I have seen pics from other girls on another site who again same stats roughly as me but where offered bigger cc yet they don't look huge. I really don't want to be disappointed with end result. I would really appreciate your advice xx
