Check up appointment tommorow

Hi all,

Hope everyone is well, not been on for a while so thought I would update if anyone wants to read :smiler:

1 week & 1 day post op now, feeling lots better. Boobs are still a bit tender to touch and I can't reach up high and things without it hurting so I am still trying to take it easy.

I have my post op appointment tomorrow so hopefully getting dressings off etc and hopefully nurse will say all is well, I am not really sure what they do at this appointment?

It is frustrating me a bit having to wear this annoying sports bra all the time and sleeping on my back too but need to keep patient!

You 1st post-op check, you nurse will check your scars and trim any stitches that might need a snip (dont worry about this, you dont feel a thing) You'll be asked if you have any concerns and you have an opportunity to ask any questions you're unsure of and if all goes well, you'll be given the OK to shower, which is the best thing EVER! HAHA.

If your swelling has reduced she may tell you that you can sleep however you like, don't hold me to it though!

I also back up what Cookie said about trimming the stitches I started feeling really sick at the idea but it was all for nothing because I didn't feel a thing.

I hope so Alice that would be good but they are still a bit tender to touch so I doubt I will be allowed hmmm we shall see.

At my 1 week check, the nurse replaced the tape and trimmed the stitches on my nipple, but didn't touch the tape underneath my boobs. That was it really, I've had to keep the tape on 24/7 and it's finally coming off on Wednesday yay :) x
