Asymmetry Worries... Empty Asymmetry Worries...

Post by Holly19872 1st November 2011, 10:52 am

Pre BA I my left is slightly bigger than my right... Mr Meleagros has said this doesn't warrant a bigger implant.

But I have read that having BA will magnify the difference...

Have any of you girls had this problem?

^ I have the same concern. But my PS assured me that the difference will still only be very slight after the BA. Hope he's right!

yea i had the same thing (think most ppl do) but like nikita, it wasn't enough of a difference to go a size bigger, otherwise the lefty would have been the bigger one!!

Trust your ps huni if je says ir doesn't warrant to different size implants then it shouldn't. My right was smaller but quite a bit so I had different sizes as advised by ps.

my lefty is slightly bigger than my right but does not warrant a different size implant, you can hardly tell the difference. Only time you would have this is if there is a huge difference between boobies

My left was bigger, i had 375 in left and 400cc in right. now my right is actually bigger than my left, was really noticeable at first, but now the swelling has gone down sooo much, its only noticeable to me x

I had Mr M and without any pushing from me he recommended different sizes. I think he would say if you needed them to be different. Feel free to get a second opinion though x

Went to see Mr M last night - he said if I had different sizes, then my right would end up bigger so I will keep them the same :)

Still undecided about size 365 and 410.... such a nightmare!! xx

your talking less than 50cc/ml difference between the two, if your going under you will lose a few cc. If it were me def go for 410 then you wont be dissapointed or have any booby greed

hi holly, i actually had the same pre ba and went with the same size in both as my surgeon didnt think i needed two different sizes. to be honest its all I see now when I look inthe mirror and feel the BA has magnified the difference. I am gonna get roung to posting some pics hopefully this evening for some feedback because Im afraid my husband is being kind. x

Hi Shell,

Thanks for your feedback - I guess everyone is different, and we tend to pick holes in our faults, when really they are probably not that notciable to others...

I would like to see your pics later on :)

When did you have your surgey?

Hi Holly, I had the surgery 6 weeks ago and am feeling great now thank god. The first three weeks were very tough but worth it.

I will try to post pics tonight and let you know x

I had the same problem with the left being bigger. It is less noticable now with bigger boobs. For the fist couple months I worried about it but now they look so much better. I am glad I had the same size implant on each side.

Hey Holly - PreBA i had pretty bad asymmetry resulting in two completely different implants one being 365cc and im thinking the other was about 250cc (If i can remember correctly) I'll find out for certain at my next app.. Could i please see your pic?? and will tell you if its worth getting two different implants - but only you and your surgeon can determine this in the end. Also my smaller breast that had the 365cc is still a tiny bit smaller and also wider but will change as they settle more.

Hey Holly, I had slight asymmetry pre op, my right slightly bigger. I'm only 2 weeks PO but think the righty is going to stay slightly bigger. I've been thinking it's still a bit swollen then remembered it was a bit bigger before! Not noticeable to anyone else though.
