Help - what size and position?
Hi I'm new to all this - seen 2 consultants, one said uplift and partial unders with a 270 or 300 moderate implant, the other said uplift and over but we didn't talk about size yet (although the implant he showed me was defo smaller and narrower). I told both consultants I like the perter (slightly fake I guess) look but don't want to look like V Beckham. Also that I run a lot so don't want that to be effected (once healed obviously). I am going to go back to both and query what they've said but I'm very confused and worried that overs will look too fake but unders might be too cumbersome? Also with overs he was very honest and said there's more chance of the implant being too high but he'd do a further operation to correct this if it happened which he said did in 30 - 40% of cases. I'm 5ft6, size 10 and weigh just under 10stone, currently small and very saggy 32d (most of that is skin)! Thanks so much.

I would defiantley go back to them both and run through these things again, unders/overs will always have there pros and cons but your ps will always give you the best option to go for.

Re: Help - what size and position?
i went to my ps and because i wanted more info i went back and i thought he might think i was being funny, but he was lovely and we went through it all again. I must admit that i'm still unsure about the size of implant, but i think the bigger the better! if you're worried about going back for a 2nd op then go with the unders, but if i were you i would go with my gut instinct, who i felt most comfortable with etc and just go back to see 1, if you go back to both you might end up even more confused?! xx

i dont know much about surgery but i dont like the sound of this.... i would go with some more opinions.

Hi Liz. It's Rach! I agree with the above - the reop bit sounds a bit odd to me. I would defo check this with the first surgeon xxxx

Re: Help - what size and position?
Thanks everyone for the advice. I spoke to both consultants today and am reassured and going back to see both for more advice and hopefully less confusion! I also got it wrong - apparently the re-ops are needed more with unders due to the implants not dropping with your natural breast tissue which is why the one who recommended overs did so! Lx
