I am struggling to find a bra and bought loads so far that i cant wear, so i am tempted to get measured, as fed up of being uncomfortable, wearing 38E at moment in sports bra and shoulders are digging in and i dont feel i have enough support in the cup as feel bouncing lol

It sounds like your band is probably way too big, hun! If you measure 32 around the ribs, ideally, you should wear a 32 band... or if that feels a bit snug, maybe push it up to a 34. But you should have a bigger cup size to go with it. So maybe something like a 34ff??

The straps will be digging in because they are trying to carry the weight of your boobs, which should be carried primarily by the strap - which is why you need a tighter strap.

Maybe try taking back some of the bra's that are no good and exchanging for ones with smaller bands and larger cups..?

Agree with kiwigirl it sounds like you need to drop a band size and go up on the cup. Your straps shouldn't really be supporting you to the extent that they're digging in. I find the ladies in Debenhams are great at fitting but M&S have some great non wired bra's in their total support range too. Remember all shop sizes come up different so try not to focus too much on the numbers at the moment. You do need to get something that you're more comfortable in though. Good luck xx

Good luck with getting measured today hunni, maybe try a few places just until you get that perfect fit,
I can't wait to go bra shopping-even if it will only be for sports bras next week after I get fitted with my chest strap,
