Hey Girls,

Hope your all well!!

I'm 3 months and a half'ish post op and my scars look very dark in color!! I haven't exposed them in the sun or done anything wrong to make them dark. Has anyone had the same thing happen to their scars?

And also what do/did you girls use for fading your scars and how long till you notice a difference?

Any answers will be appreciated..thanks!!! :) xoxo

Hay hun,

I wouldn't say mine have got dark really ... But I have heard this is normal , I was told mine would look worse before they get better.

I have been using a cheap version of bio oil on mine and as of last month I started using boots scar reduction sheets. I can say I notice a difference they are now starting to fade, it recommends a 8 week treatment so I still have another month to go with the scar sheets.

I noticed that one of my scars started to become raised so hoping the sheets will also help this.

Cant wait for them to go though! It seems a very slow process.

oh and I'm about 4 months post op
