Hi all,
Have any of you heard of this? Just a reminder that I am in Spain, so maybe they do things differently here.
My PS is planning to locally anaesthetize (that's a hard word to spell) my chest area, but sedate me, so that I am asleep - but it's not a GA. I quite like the idea because I have heard that the GA can take a lot out of you and make the post-op part hard, but I haven't seen anyone else posting about this, so am nervous because no-one else seems to have had this.
Any thoughts?

If you look in the breast augmentation stories section you should see a post by a lady who had this done. I would post a link to it but I am on my phone so cant at the moment. Her story is very positive

I didn't have this but remember the story that misf1 posted. Having had a lot of dental work done under sedation I'd say from a patients point of view it probably wouldn't feel much different to a GA. You shouldn't remember any of it, won't feel anything and I'd assume you'd still have access to similar pain killers post op. Definitely worth considering if you want to avoid some of the negatives of a GA.
