r u an overnight patient> even if your not, pack ass though you r, just incase they need to keep u in for the night.
So youll need:
* make up remover, cleansers etc
*toothpast and brush
*facecream
*mobile phone and CHARGER!
*magazines and boob ( portable dvd player)
*maybe a snack, but i dont think u will as they provide food.
*make up for ur discharge (if u can be bothered to put some on..i didnt!)
*slippers
*button down pjs, as u wont be able to put anything o over your head...trust me!
*A button down top for the nxt day, as again, u wont be able to lift ur arms.
*Deaodrant.
*your post op bra
*clean underwear
i think that covers everything!
unless anyone wants to add?
xx

The only other thing I took was a pillow for the journey home just so the seatbelt wasn't pressed against me - it did look a bit odd though but I was comfy, my journey was a couple of hours and I think if it was shorter I may have been able to manage without out x

ooh yeah!! good thinking!! add that one, only reason why i wud have needed one was to wedge me into my seat as going round corners hurt me, not bumps!FloJo wrote:The only other thing I took was a pillow for the journey home just so the seatbelt wasn't pressed against me - it did look a bit odd though but I was comfy, my journey was a couple of hours and I think if it was shorter I may have been able to manage without out x
