How long have you been told to wear yours for?
I have to wear mine for 6 weeks, it's driving me nuts!! It itches and is really unfortable. Sometimes it really hurts me to. Do you thhink it's ok to take it off for a bit every now and again?

Hi hun, I also had to wear mine for 6 weeks. Obviously you have to take it off to hand wash it and let it dry (it says not to tumble dry but I did on a few occasions on a low heat and it really helped tighten it) so that's a few hours band free. I did mine every couple of days.
I'm pretty sure they are only to put extra pressure on the implant to encourage it to drop into the pocket, so a few hours is not going o hurt you or the boobs, but obviously check with your nurse first xxx

Did they tell you why 6 weeks? I was originally told two week, then after the op they said 6.
Congratulations on your new additions x

hey hun, i had to wear mine for 2weeks with first surgeon and a week with second. i think if he has said to wear it for 6 weeks then do so as it helps bring the implant down so there not so high on your chest wall. there horrible arent they, but it will all be worth while hunny xxx

Hey hunni

I had to wear mine for what I thought was going to be 6 weeks, but turned out to be an extra two (but only 8 hours a day).

I did take it off from time to time because it made my boobs ache so much.

It was a real pain, but the time soon goes and it's worth it.
