hiya ladies, ive got my pics up from 7 days post op. havent got any from before to compare because i didnt think. i was a 34A and now theyre about a D. 450CC unders xx

theyre between a D and DD now, probs a full D, empty DD but thats a sports bra. i think once theyve 'fluffed' i'll be about a DD for a comfy fit. what size are you thinking of? they look smaller out of a bra and theyre still very high and far apart so hopefully when they get to a more natural shape they'll look more like boobs :P x

Im a 34A but want to be a DD, i was thinking around 400/450cc will take me up to that? Im seeing my surgeon in a couple of weeks so he'll be able to help me decide for sure, i just dont want to wish id gone bigger after!xx

yeah they should do. mine initially offered me 400s but then we agreed 450s would be more likely to give the result i want as i felt 500s would be too big. i wanted them to look natural and i think a D/DD does that. i went out last night and all my friends said they look natural but big natural so were perfect. if i want them to look bigger i can wear a padded bra on the odd occassion (ive done it for about 6 years so its not too much trouble). i just felt this was a good option because theyre big enough to make an impact now, but not too dramatic if that makes sense xx

Yeah thats exactly the same as me! I dont want them to look unnatural but i do want them quite big! Atleast now i have some sort of idea about implant size/cc of what i want. Haha yeah we're probably experts in padded bras and chicken fillets by now! Yeah i think 500cc would be too big. Ooo i want my consultation to be sooner!! xx

you sound exactly like me, thats how i wanted them and mine achieved that. i know everyones different but i have quite a big frame so if it works for me chances are it'll get you to about a D/DD. your surgeon will know though so just ask them. have you done the rice test? do a 400, 450 and 500. thats what i did, immediately eliminated the 500s and was advised to go for the bigger of 2 options cos most people wish theyd gone one size bigger.

Yeah ive got quite wide hips and when i saw my surgeon last time we were talking about making me look more in proportion so i can get away with a bigger size really. I havent done the rice test, does it need to be in a sports bra, as i dont even own one!! My consult is 16th may, cant have my op till the school holidays so im trying to wait as long as possible for my consult and things, just seems so long away till august! xx

yeah mine was all about being in proportion. usually im about a 10-12 (ive put on a LOT of weight recently hence the 'usually' :P) and i think mine achieved that cos tops no longer fall down, if they fit on the waist and tummy, they now fit on the boobs. thats what i wanted cos i didnt wanna go too big and go the other way so it'd be difficult finding stuff to fit after as that kinda defeated the point for me.

i did my rice tests in a sports bra cos i figured thats what im gonna have on for a month post op and then they'll look slightly bigger in normal bras so thats a minimum if that makes sense. i dont think it makes that much diff but i figured if im happy with the size in a sports bra, i'll LOVE them in pretty normal ones :P x

Yeah thats what i want, to lose my pear shape! I have trouble with dresses, especially if theyre strapless as they fall down or gape on top as i have to get a 10/12 because of my hips! But yeah i def dont want to go the other way! So if i bought a like 34D sports bra and did the rice test with 450g that would give me an idea of what a 34D would look like roughly? xx

i think so. it obviously wouldnt be exact but you sound the same size as me and im in a 34/36D now cos of swelling underneath but some bras ive got are DDs. i think it depends on the bra quite a lot too but it should give you a rough idea :) x

oooh thats great, i was wondering where to go. ive got a load of la senza vouchers from my friends but i'll defo go to bravissimo first then see how la senza compare. do the sizes differ much between shops? its all new to me cos i used to just have to have the smallest cup size going, now i have a choice!! and yeah password is _____ :) x

You sure you want to put your password on here hun, or would you like me to edit it out for you? Anyone can read this section of the forum even guests. I found la senza I need a bigger band size in some as they are super tight, but in others I'm fine, just always try them on and you'll be fine. I really like the fitting service in bravissimo they were so helpful, and explained exactly why something was or wasn't a good fit and actually showed me, so when I went elsewhere to buy bras I could see for myself what was good and what wasn't.
