How long before you feel normal?
Hello girlies!
I have just been for a couple of consultations, one with MYA and one with Transform, with the aim to get my new boobs at the end of the summer. The only reason I wanted to get them done after summer is that I want to feel totally comfortable in more skimpy clothes and I was under the impression that it would take a lot longer than 2 months to get that way. It's now mid February and I would like to be ready to "get them out" in May.
I am 5'4", Size 8-10 and have 32A/B bra size at present. I would like to achieve a large C or small D and am currently thinking that I will go with Mr Chantarasak (he has come highly recommended).
What are your views on this? How long was it before you thought "yes, they are ready for their first bikini/skimpy top outing". Do you think I should wait until the summer is over so I am ready for the next one? Or would you say that there is enough time to get them done in March (I've been told I could get them done that soon!)
Any tips would be greatly appreciated!!
Thanks girls
Helene

Re: How long before you feel normal?
I am 8 weeks post op and really wish the weather would warm up as I can't wait to flash cleavage in tight tops and strapless dresses - the only people who get to see "the new me" are at the swimming pool at 7 am in the morning - but I think they need to de-fog their goggles as I look damm good in my tankini!!
So I would definately get them done NOW and I'm sure they will look great by May/June. xx

Re: How long before you feel normal?
I had my BA and was going on a surfing trip five weeks later. It was touch and go as to whether scars would be healed by that time, but thankfully they were and I was able to go swimming and get into bikinis.
They didn't look as natural as they did at 2 months post op, but they certainly left an impression!
Have the surgeons you've seen given any indication of what size implant you'll need to achieve the size you'd like?

Re: How long before you feel normal?
I would say you would be fine by may june to wear skimpy tops and enjoy them.
Re: How long before you feel normal?
Yes, I'm just over 2 months post op and like Jellytot, wish summer would start tomorrow so I can wear something a bit more revealing than thick jumpers LOL.
So, if you heal at fairly normal rates, I would say go for it now sweetheart - that way you get to enjoy the results for one summer extra.
xx

Wow. So many replies so quickly! Thanks for the advice. I have my first appointment with Mr Chantarasak tomorrow and he will, I'm sure, let me know exactly what I can and can't expect from the surgery.
How exciting!!!!
I'll keep you all posted :)

Re: How long before you feel normal?
By 6 weeks you should feel pretty great and by then you can wear a regular bra and bikini tops... and you will be anxious to do so! I am sure if you do it before summer you will be thrilled to show them off during summer!

I went to see Mr Chantrasak and he told me that I would be looking at 230cc over the muscle. I am going to try and see if I can get it done in March!!! How exciting!

Hey sweetie,
Everyone heals at different rates, i'm 4 weeks post op and have been in a bra during the day for just under a week ( at the advice of my surgeon ), and i don't care it's winter ha ha i've been in skimpy tops already!!!!
