clenching pecs - 5 days post op with unders? Empty clenching pecs - 5 days post op with unders?

Post by lilibet 15th January 2011, 7:23 pm

Hi all - any advice - I'm 5 days post op & have been up & about yesterday & today quite alot (so probably overdoing it a bit). I'm getting the feeling that my pecs are clenching without me doing anything & my boobs have the "full" feeling you get when breast feeding. I presume this is all normal but would love a bit of reassurance. Can anyone remember what post op unders feel like in the early days? Thanks all xx

Yes it sounds normal to me hun, it can be a very strange feeling after unders but a) you get used to it and b) the feeling lessens a lot as your boobies heal.

I had overs but still had some very strange spasm's and feelings of 'clenching' and sometimes a 'burning' sensation when I leaned forward. It was just like the burn you get at the gym when you're giving your pecs are real workout!!!! clenching pecs - 5 days post op with unders? Sport-smiley-5557

At first it does feel like it's never ending - one 'twinge' after another but as Hattie say's you do get used to all the weird sensations and they do ease as time goes by......xx

Perfectly normal to me too. Everything felt really tight, I agree with Hattie you do get used to the feeling, Im only 4 weeks post op and Im hardly aware of it, and mine I know are still tight and high x
