Boobs shrinking 18 months post op??

Hi Girls,

Have any of you who are quite a way post op noticed any difference in the size of your boobs?

I fluffed a lot after my overs. I was a small B cup then after my op was initially a DD, then an E, then a F, a FF and eventually a G!

I've noticed recently though that they are shrinking. They definitely look smaller. I was wondering whether I was imagining it but went and got measured and was told I'm a 30E! That's 2/3 cup sizes smaller than I was measured at about six months ago.

I have been exercising recently but not that much. I've been going to the gym 2-3 times a week for about 3 weeks now so they couldn't have shrunk that much in that space of time! Plus I got measured as a E cup before I started exercising.

Also, I used to go to the gym a lot at the beginning of the year and it had no effect on my cup size.

Has anyone else had this? Is it possible for your boobs to fluff initially and then shrink somehow?!

mine shrank marie when i started working out but i did strick diet to for 6 weeks and they shrank then i think diet and exercise makes them shrink not sure what esle would though xxxx

Actually i think i agree with you mine seem slightly smaller than when i hadthem done.I do go to the gym but no dieting.I think my bras have got looser around the back as well(need ne ones lol!)I wonder if its because they are alot softer now and fit?squash into the cups easier?just a thought x

Did u have quite a bit of breast tissue before your op? Cause if u did mayeb cause your losing weight/excersising your losing your own breast tissue and just left with the implant now xxx

Can only comment as someone pre BA, but I started doing Bodypump and Pilates once a week about 7 weeks ago and my boobs have got even smaller I was wearing padded 32b bras and achieving a teeny bit of oomph, now they are empty at the top, I'd be lucky to fill an a cup - so yes, i reckon the exercise could be the reason. I agree with Traci75 though, I'd be thrilled with your cleavage!!

I understand that exercising can make them smaller but I got measured as a 30E before I started exercising! Very odd!

I was a B cup before little wisher and had quite a good amount of tissue before the op, according to my surgeon, but to me they were tiny!

I'm a bit peeved as they look really insignificant in a top or t shirt now. Might have to go and get me a wonderbra!

Marie, if I remember right it wasn't long ago you felt your boobs were really heavy? Do you think it might be possible that you're experiencing hormonal changes hun?

I came off the pill in September (again, after being measured) but no chance of me being pregnant if that's what you mean!

Maybe it is the pill Marie, as The pill can make busts bigger, and it just taken a while to come out of your system? xx

Just looked back through your old threads and it was October you said you had heavy boobs.

If you came off the pill in September it's possible your hormones could have gone a little heywire and may explain the heaviness in October, possibly water retention in your breasts?, with the pill now being out of your system and your hormones probably now settled (water retention gone) do you think this may explain the reduction? xx

Oh I see! Phew!

You might be right. Slept without a bra on comfortably for the first time in ages the other night.

I might have to go back on the pill at this rate!

Id say it was hormones hun as my boobs tend to change size dramatically like you have said one minute im falling out of my bras then a few days later it fits fine!& thats no relation too my weight so hormones it the only other thing that could possibly cause it!

Reckon the girls are right, hunni.

Hormones never made my boobs get bigger. That's why I had to buy some!!!! xxx

hormones never made mine bigger netheir lol mine are def smaller since i started working out i just wear great clevage bras on nights out now as i have a gap otherwise and i didnt b4 i lost weight through exercise xxxxx
