Rice Test?? Empty Rice Test??

Post by Mysty 30th October 2010, 10:07 pm

Hi Everyone wavey
A lovely member of this board has recommended 'the rice test' to test out different sizes in my bra so work out what size looks best.

I've had a consultation and I tried two sizes but I have no idea what the CC was. I will have another consultation about June time before my op but I really want to play around with sizes.

I've heard so many people say that they wish they had gone bigger so I want to know the biggest that looks best without looking silly.

Any details on the rice test that may help anyone? *Mysty* Cheerleader

Rice Test?? Empty Re: Rice Test??

I was told to measure 410 grams (I was having 410cc) of rice and put it in a stocking, tie it to make an implant shape ball, make one for the left and on for the right and put it in a sports bra. I found the rice test made me look much bigger than when they were actually inside.

I found the rice test wasnt very accurate, I also called my Dr to see his thoughts on the rice test and he said not to bother as the shape etc are totally different to the actual implants..... I was trying on 270cc of rice (as I was getting 300cc implants under the muscle and you lose 10% so thats why i took the extra amount out) however the 270cc looked HUGE in my bra and I even contemplated not going as big as 300cc (luckily I didn’t make them any smaller bcos I already have boob greed hahaha)

Hello there Mysty-i found the rice test pretty accurate 8-) was told to measure 385mls (i was thinking of getting 385cc) in a measuring jug and put it in a pop sock.i was also reminded that the implants wouldn't weigh as much as the rice! lol x
