Rubbish, think I'm coming down with something big time. What painkillers am I allowed to take? Can I have lemsip? I'm having my op on Tuesday. I soooo hope I will feel better soon xx

You'd be better making up a hot honey and lemon drink and taking a couple of parcetamol if you feel you need them hun.

So many of us come down with colds right before our ops which is probably down to stress.. as long as you don't have any sort of infection you'll be fine though hunni. xx

Thanks hun, so paracetamol is ok then? Yes, I guess it's due to stress and also that I'm finally off work. Only had ten days off since December last year so am shattered. xx

If you can do without them don't take them, but if you absolutely feel you need them because you have a temperature then you'll be fine to take a couple babe, I wouldn't take anything after sunday though without asking your clinic for advice if you still feel you need medication. xx
