i know, my surgeon gets you to wear a size smaller for a week and then go up to the right size for 2 weeks. all the other surgeons at transform were 6 weeks in sports bra.

going for my first check tomorrow so gonna ask then. xx

wot size do you wear abbie? xxx

thank god im not the only one!!! its so annoying resting on my incisions, and the tape thats over them is all coming up and sticking to my bra!! at least that gets changed tomor.

my bra is comfy, its the shock absorber one from debenhams, just too tight on the band. but my wee mumma has kinda helped with extending it a bit

My monthly friend came today and i think im a bit PMT'd /Bloated and down in the dumps just need a good moan!! sorry girls lol. xx

Awww babe, you shouldn't have to suffer the bra being so tight it hurts, thank goodness for your mum!

Most up go up a few band sizes during our recovery babe, then go back down as the swelling subsides, I went from a 32 band to a 36. xx

Hiya I was the same and put into at C cup post op with 435cc overs it was tight and uncomfortable but thats what the PS wanted andthen I changed at 2 weeks. I also used panty liners folded over inside the bra on the incision site to ease the discomfort on the stitches it really helped. I used the bra extender as well.

It's not good at all to wear a too-tight sports bra. Says in my pre-op information packet:

"If the bra feels too tight or hurts, switch immediately to any bra that feels comfortable. A bra that is too tight can cause ulceration of the skin -- YOU MUST NOT LET THIS HAPPEN!"

I think every surgeon is different and i guess it depends on many things like procedure, placement and size how tighter bra your told to wear. I had very very tight strapping (like sticky tape!) for 2 weeks because i had implant replacement and unders and it was uncomfy but didnt cause any probs .Now im in sports bra and have been told not too wear one too tight for the next four weeks, so have gone up a band.It will be such a relief for you lorrs when you do!! Congratulations on your new boobies !! Cheerleader

i know!! well 2moro is a week and i can change into my 34D , tried it on and it fits a lot better. Gonna go shopping at the weekend for a couple diff ones, R there any ones that dont give me the pointy boob look like thee shock absolrber??

Was at transform to see the nurse tonight and get dressings off, just got steri strips now for 3 weeks she gave me loads to change them every 2-3 days. says my scars are really small and healing well. I hav a small purple bruise where one of my drains came out but she says it doenst even look like i had drains she couldnt see a hole at all, which is good news!!

so im happy and cant wait to get up in the morning and have a hot shower!! wooohooooo

I hear you about the pointy madonna boobs the shock absorder gives you. I bought one from M& S thats sooooo comfy on the band lorrs its the high impact one and its not a racer back either. There was also one that Jay recommended me from M&S with the zip front but they didn't have my size. I've got a couple from Asda which I use to sleep in which are not as restricitve amd were only £4.

Enjoy your shower I am sooooooo jealous lol xxxxx
