Hi, im a newbie on here. Im considering making a claim through slee blackwell solicitors for pip replacement. Has anyone else used them. Also, has anyone got an update on their own legal claim and if so what stage are you at? Has anyone had a successful claim? Any info would be a hugehelp. Thanks xx

Hi Salbo and welcome to Breast Buddies wavey

I'm sorry you found us under such circumstances but we hope to help and support you if you need us.

To date no-one has had a successful claim for being implanted with PIPs. However.... If you paid for your surgery with a credit card Salbo, there has been success reclaiming the money through the card provider. See HERE xx

Hi, I tried to pursue Surgicare through Slee Blackwell (I had pips through them a couple of years ago - just before they banned them!) but didnt get anywhere. Slee Blackwell basically just said there is nothing can be done. I did however get two thousand back through my credit card, as I had paid for half my op with that. I was with Tesco credit card luckily and they were great. If you paid on your card it might be worth going down that route. Good luck.

Oh dear.... I hate to bearer of bad news Salbo, but if you're 6 years over your purchase which you are as you said you had your surgery 8 years ago, then as far as claiming back on a credit card goes, you technically no longer have a case lovely

Read this thread HERE

I'm so, so sorry Salbo Hug

Its still worthwhile contacting a solicitor though to see what they have to say about whether you're within a timescale for claiming abck from the clinic if its ever going to be possible babe. Xx
