Admission, then wait?
Hi Girls!
I am supposed to be at the hospital 7am and i'm trying to figure out how long it all will take...
from reading your stories it seems like everyone has had to wait for quite some time from admission to going to the op?
How long did you wait from admission to op?
And how long did you stay after the op?
I'm gonna be a daycase and I'm just wondering about when I can expect to be home?
Thanks

Hiya, if you're a daycase you'll probably have your op quite early, i got there at 11am and didnt go down to theatre until 3pm! I stayed overnight x
Re: Admission, then wait?
I was admitted at 10:30 then went down about 1-2ish. Take loads of mags, maybe a few films on an iPod or laptop as it does get boring.

Well if you read my story you'll know that I had to wait many hours but that was because my implants had not arrived yet! which is not something that normally happens... but a few hours is normal from what I hear. So, like RC says do, take something to read to keep you aocupied!! My room had a TV as well but I don't know whether that's always the case.

Re: Admission, then wait?
My admission time was 2pm, I was taken down to theatre at about 5pm, & I was second on the list. I was soooooooo bored, I hate waiting!! Defo take a book or some mags or something. There was a TV in my room with some Sky channels, but my fella decided to watch the footie, so I just read my book! Xx
