Consultation Booked
Well...I did it, for some reason I was really nervous about just booking the consultation but did it this afternoon. 2 weeks Saturday i'll know what the surgeon suggests.
Does anyone have suggestions for questions to ask the consultant? I've got the basics but do any of you have any questions that maybe you wished you had asked or ones that are not so obvious but very helpful?
I've got 2 weeks to come up with some questions.
Thanks gals
Jem

Re: Consultation Booked
I've just looked on google and saw that exact one.
I'm booked in with Mr Cooper at the Spire Hospital in Cardiff. My friend had hers done a few months ago and said he was amazing. So calm and nothing was too much trouble for him.
So thought he seemed the right person to start off with.

Re: Consultation Booked
Congrats! I've got my first one 2 weeks on Thursday - I know what you mean, I was nervous just booking it on the phone. Feels good to know I've got the ball rolling tho (but scary too!)
I'm going to email first just to make sure I have a decent amount of time with the surgeon as I've seen posts from girls who've said their surgeon was in a hurry / didn't have any pictures/implants to see/try etc..as I live quite far away from the consult I might not be able to do a face to face 2nd one so I want to make sure I get the most out of this one...
Good luck with yours, look forward to hearing how it went!
xx

Re: Consultation Booked
Congrats hun on taking the first step! And don't worry, if you think of more questions or you have some doubts after the first consultation, you can always go back or talk to the surgeon on the phone. My suggestion would be, even if you have heard good things about this surgeon, book at least another consultation or 2 with someone else, so you can compare and go with who you feel more comfortable with, it's worth it so you are sure off your choice even if you end up going back to the original surgeon. Good luck xxxx

Re: Consultation Booked
Well sizing seems to be a bit of a problem for me.
I'm 5ft 3" and weigh 11st and have been wearing a 36B bra. But I measured myself a few days ago and I seem to be a 38A. Have lost weight over the last year and it's taken it's toll on my boobs
Have been looking at pics on the net and with my shoulders being so broad and wide hips am thinking maybe a large C / small D. But to be perfectly honest I don't really know.
I can't imagine them on me see which is why I think i'm having such a hard time figuring it all out.
Roll on 4th April

Re: Consultation Booked
Did any of you take pics when you had the sizers on? I think I'd like 2 take a few pics 2 take home with me so I can look and c which 1s I prefer when I'm home.
Would the ps mind me getting my bf 2 take some pics with my vest top over the bra?

Re: Consultation Booked
No he wont mind hun! I wish i did, i tried on a couple of sizes and then put my top back on over to see what it looked like x
Re: Consultation Booked
That's what I plan on doing cos I no I'll only 4get what I looked like.
I'm sat in bed staring dwn my top trying to imagine what size I could have so having pics 2 look at would be a great help.

Re: Consultation Booked
I wish I'd done that too! Yeah, you should be fine to take pictures. Make sure if you try more than one size on you take them in some kind of order so you can compare after

Re: Consultation Booked
I meant to take pics and now regret not.. I did feel a bit silly trying on implants and posing in the mirror, very strange. Mind you I think I felt more silly when I had to stand right in front of the middle-aged nurse chaperone whilst I was being poked and prodded by my ps!
Def take / wear a nice figure-hugging Tee and get there early so you can relax with a coffee and look at your questions again etc. I was really nervous but it was all fine. Maybe ask at the end if you can email him if you have any questions you forget to ask (in case you get a bit side-tracked by the amazing goddess with big bazookas you see in the mirror!) x

I printed everything out last night as I'm staying down my OH's and going from there in the morning. I'm going to have to get up at the crack of dawn as my appointment in 8.30am.
Amazing goddess - I like the sound of that!!
