Anyone know much about Finance?
Hi its moaning Mia here, as some of you know I have car trouble, a mechanic may have mis-diagnosed a problem or even wrecked my car from doing a bad job (still waiting to here the outcome from independant engineer)
So until I know whats going to happen with that I am thinking of the options I have if my BA fund has to go towards repairing my car or buying a new one (a cheap run-around isnt on the cards, my OH bums cars)
SO!! Does anyone know if any of the major BA companys do a no interest finance? or are they all just 0% for the first year? cos im thinking if any do interest free, and I can take it over 3 years I may just manage to afford it?
Thanks in advance for any replies xxx

Re: Anyone know much about Finance?
I think most are only interest free for the first year, but to be honest I don't think the interest rate on my finance (Transform) is that bad- all in all I will end up paying back just over £4k but £103 a month is not bad, and hopefully in 2 years time I will be earning more money so it'll seem even less if you know what I mean.
There's no way I could have saved the whole amount in less than 5 years- finance is the best decision we made! x

Thanks Jade, and bloomin' hell your boobs are huge! hehe
How long is your finance for? 3 years? is that how much you pay £103 a month? I could probs manage that. Did you pay a deposit? xx

Re: Anyone know much about Finance?
I didn't go down the finance route so I don't know much about it, but I did put my boobs on my boyfriends 0% credit card and we've moved it to another credit card now that is 0% on balance transfers.
Re: Anyone know much about Finance?
Another good idea, thanks misf1 I shall look into that too!! xx

Re: Anyone know much about Finance?
I didn't do the finance option either as I an generally quite sceptical of those deals as I always assumed you'd end up paying back so much more than you originally borrowed. HOWEVER.... having read what Jade and MarieMc paid/are paying I take it all back! I think those deals seem pretty reasonable and if I had to do it again I'd definitely consider it.

Re: Anyone know much about Finance?
Thanks Sally, im also a bit warey of getting anything on finance or loans (had it drummed into me off my mam who is scared id get into debt) but as I have my heart set on it, and with my BA fund possibly needed elsewhere I might just have to do it! xxx

Re: Anyone know much about Finance?
Go for it girly! The ones I looked into are very affordable but I already had lots of credit with a mortgage and car on loan so had to save the money. I'd say the credit card companies are more stricter so perhaps try the company you want to go through first.
Good luck chick xx

Re: Anyone know much about Finance?
Hi Mia,
i also struggled to get the funds together and i cerntainly wasnt prepared to wait until i had it all saved. i was considering finance with Harley Medical group but instead i decided to get a loan with my bank, my BA was £4275 and i am currently paying £162 per month off my loan over a 3 year period. once applied online the money was in my bank account within 48hours and in a further 24 hrs by BA was all booked :) was a quick and easy solution in my eyes xx

Re: Anyone know much about Finance?
I'm recovering suprisingly well thank you, hardly any pain at all!! although i loveeee my new boobs i am suffering slight boob greed :(
I am with Natwest bank, i took out a £5000 loan as i needed some xtra for my car, over all i will be paying back around £6000. I did look into finance but was advised that it isnt a fixed intrest rate so it can increase? my bank loan is fixed intrest and was extremely quick, as it was my bank i also new i was unlikley to be refused.
hope this helps xxx

Re: Anyone know much about Finance?
Thanks for replying Elaine, glad the healing process is going well. I can imagine whatever size I end up I will probs have boob-greed aswell, but there is always the option of reverting back to old ways and adding a bit of stuffing for a special occasion, hehe.
That sounds like a good deal you got there with your bank, I once had a loan with my bank- HSBC, and they totally ripped me off, I was young and naive at the time tho!! xx

Re: Anyone know much about Finance?
Thats quite good Jade, my OH is meant to be getting a pay rise, which may (hopefully) be the extra each month to pay off finance.
eeee. Fingers crossed!xx
