bad day!!

So..... day 3 after my operation, and i think its just one of those days.
I never thought i could miss having a shower so much, sitting in a shallow bath and then having to wash everywhere else with a flannel some how is just NOT the same. Also having my mum wash my hair has to be THE biggest pain in my backside.
I do feel alot better today, it wasnt so painfull getting out of bed and the aches arn't as bad, dont get me wrong, still uncomfortable but alot better.
I also feel the most unattractive person at the moment, i am sooo incredibally bloated at the moment, i honestly do look about 5 months pregnant, and its really starting to get to me.
So yeah, i am a fat, bloated woman with farting boobs....BRILLIANT!
(Dont let this put you off anyone....i still love my boobs to peices and one of the best decisions i ever made...just difficult not being able to do every day things!)

aww babe. i know exactly what you're going thru. i had the post-op blues for about a week 
it WILL get better tho lol!! i just wanted to send you some hugs cos i know how bad it makes you feel at the time
you'll feel great once you can have a shower and wash your own hair in a few days x x x

I know how you feel pet, but it will get better! Just wait until you are allowed to have your first proper shower, its glorious lol!! Its perfectly normal to feel how you do but just keep in mind those awesome boobies!! xx

Sorry that you feel so down today Bigwood but I couldn't help laughing at your description of farting boobs.
I've got to admit, i'm dreading having to get my own mum to help me wash my hair as she can be quite impatient and I'm having my nose done at the same time as my boobs and won't be able to get the nose splint wet - think its going to be an ewdgy couple of days for me post-op too.
I'm sure once your blues have passed in a couple of days you will feel great again and will have fabulous new boobs too.

Aw hun - sorry you are feeling down today, this is all normal and a process we have all been through, hang on in there, it will pass and your tummy will go down too, just takes a bit of time.

Sorry you're having a bad day hunny. Not sure if you had unders or overs but I had overs and by 7 days post op I had made a major improvement. You will wake up one day and just feel so much better. Hope it's not too long coming - just relax and do exactly what you want - don't overdo it or anything and you will start to feel so much better. xx

I remember feeling like that to hun, but it really does get much better. Once you can have a proper shower and the bloating goes down you will feel fab. x

ditto to all the above, but somehow I never got the farting boobie bit, I remember ruth89 had it terrible, but she caught the crumbs from her toast in her cleavage and that made up for it!the fat bit does pass, soon as you are up and about normal again,, have you got the hang of the 'bum shuffle'' for getting out of bed??

It isn't too often, i was just sat on the sofa this morning and they made a noise i was like WOAH what was that!! it is quite funny really!
the bum shuffle......oo definetly, without that i think i would be bed bound!
