Itchyness???
I am amost 3 week after my BA and Im just wearing a strip of micropore over each incision (which is pretty much scabbed and healing) but it has become unbearably itchy on the scab .
i have to just itch around the micropore but its not hitting the spot!
Is this normal? I hope its a healing thing and not something worse.
Gaaaah i shouldnt of thought about it , they are itching again!

Re: Itchyness???
It's just the skin stretching to accomodate the new implant hun, it's horrible isn't it. keep your boobs well moisturised hun, I used E45 cream but avoid getting any anywhere near your scars you can use ice packs/frozen bags of peas/rice placed on the itch where your scar is to help alleviate the itch too. xxx
Re: Itchyness???
Yes, I had this too and all part of the normal healing process I think. My PS suggested itching somewhere else on your chest/torso area (but not the scar area!) to fool your body into thinking you are relieving the itch?? Itchiness only lasted 2 - 3 days for me so hopefully similar for you! X

Re: Itchyness???
Me too, the itching was awful, I had to keep rubbing around the area and it just wasn't hitting the spot!
It is part of the healing process and it does go away, hang in there hun, it does get better! x x

Re: Itchyness???
I am trying not to itch all that moment and the skin on my boobies is really dry. This morning I used this molton brown spray on moisturiser that I forgot I had and it really soothed my boobs and made me forget about wanting to scratch my incisions!
I cant wait for it to get better!
Lots of love

Re: Itchyness???
It also drove me nuts, a lovely lady on here recomended antihistamine tablets which helped, also putting a cold compress on the scars helps relieve the itching.
Re: Itchyness???
Lightly tapping the area really helps take the itch away, when i got my tattoos my tattooist told me to 'slap' the area instead of scratching and it really works. Obviously be gentle lol xx
